Hayward Rotarians in Ghana

The Hayward Rotary Club has been involved with several International Service Projects. In Ghana, we participated in the Polio Plus projects with Hayward Rotarians traveling to Gahna to personal put drops of vaccine in young children's mouths. Our members have helped drill 11 water wells in remote areas in Ghana. We completed a project to bring a tractor and related equipment to a remote village in Kenya, and 2 years later, purchased a truck to haul the produce from the farm and haul construction equipment for various building projects. Both the truck and the tractor are currently in demand 7 days a week year round. Other International projects include supporting the Guatemala Litercy Project as well as partnering with other Rotary Clubs financially to benefit their projects.
