From Hayward to Vietnam and Back Again

In 1994 Sue McKinney, a California attorney, business consultant and speaker, moved to Vietnam. She has had the pleasure of witnessing and taking part in the dynamic economic and social growth that Vietnam has experienced.

Sue has exported thousands of high quality goods to Costco, SurLaTable, Wildwood, Martha Stewart – exports which support hundreds of jobs in VN. She's the inspiration behind Red Door Deco Saigon. Sue co-authors an upcoming book, The King’s Herb, on the history of Traditional Vietnamese Medicine and the work of Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tram. 

When Sue met Dr.Tram, a dedicated scientist and award winning pharmacologist, the two women formed a strong bond. Dr. Tram is the developer of Crila® - an organic herbal supplement w 23 years of scientific research, proven effective for prostate, menopause and uterine health. 

Crila Health Ltd was formed through Dr. Tram's dedication, Sue's outreach to investors, and teambuilding efforts in the US. Based on Crila® results in clinical trials and successful test marketing in the US; foreign investment supported plantation expansion and a new GMP-WHO certified factory, to supply the Crila Health team's expansion into US marketing & distribution. Crila® is now available to benefit men and women worldwide. 

Sue's education included programs in Italy and France. Her legal career began with the Alameda County District Attorney’s office, she was in private practice for 7 years, then worked for California’s Secretary of State March Fong Eu, networking with Asian trade delegations to increase trade with California businesses.

Sue's found many ways to give back to VN. On the Board of Operation Smile VN for 9 years Sue helped raise funds for 20,000 kids' surgery. Thru Rotary, raise funds & facilitate 1,000 wheelchairs, 3 libraries, orphanage programs, a home for unwed mothers, women’s micro-credit, 50 scholarships for a US|VN Rotary exchange, and built a pediatric ICU in Vietnam’s largest Cancer Hospital.
