Economic Forecast

Tony Lima, Ph.D., is Professor Emeritus of Economics at California State University East Bay. He will deliver his keynote presentation, "Economic Forecast 2017."

In 2016 Tony Lima retired from teaching economics at CSU East Bay for 37 years. In addition to teaching, he spent 13 years as CEO of a small software development company. He got his Ph.D. from Stanford in 1980 and remains a season ticket holder for Stanford baseball.  Nevertheless, he holds no ill will toward any U.C. Berkeley graduates and/or fans.  He is a card-carrying wine economist, has published in sports economics, and generally has a broad interest in many economic topics.  He writes about economics technology, and wine.
