The Richard W. Bowman Outstanding Hayward Rotarian Award is given annually to the Hayward Rotary Club member who best exemplifies the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self”, and whose contributions in the five Avenues of Service distinguish them among their peers. It is the highest honor Hayward Rotary Club bestows on its Members.Make plans to join us on Monday Evening, April 9 @ 5:30 p.m. for a special Club Dinner meeting to honor this year's Outstanding Hayward Rotarian recipient - Ms. Pamela Russo
This event will replace our Club's regular Monday Lunch meeting that day. Hosted Social Hour begins @ 5:30 with dinner and the program to follow. The cost is $15 for members and their guests using prepaid lunch tickets, $20 for all others.
Other past honorees who are current members are: , John Hunter, Ed Martins, Ed Avelar, Dick Bowman, Ken Meirovitz, George Pacheco, Bob Scheppler, Mona Diamantine, Bob Sakai, Brian Schott, Ed Mullins, Larry Ratto and Paul Martin.
Prospective honorees are nominated by fellow Rotary Club members, and the winner is selected by a Committee comprised of the past five honorees. The 2018 OHR Committee members are Paul Martin, Larry Ratto, Brian Schott, Bob Sakai, and Ed Mullins.
Hayward Rotarians are encouraged to bring their spouse/partner and their guests to honor Pam.
