Hayward Executive Airport Manager Douglas McNeeley has been working with city staff on improvements at the airport that include redeveloping the 126-acre former Skywest Golf Course at the north end of the runway. The project is multi-year, phased process and the site plan includes park/recreational use aeronautical use, an airport safety zone, and future business development.
