David Stark is the Public Affairs Director for the Bay East Association of REALTORS®. He manages the Association’s media relations, political activities and works with elected leaders and government staff in the development of housing policies. Mr. Stark also coordinates the Bay East Housing Opportunities program which promotes home ownership for buyers from all income levels and advocates for affordable housing programs.

Prior to joining the Bay East staff Mr. Stark worked in municipal government for more than 12 years managing a variety of housing and community development programs.

Mr. Stark served as the 2014 Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce.

In his spare time Mr. Stark serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Pleasanton Gardens senior housing complex. He served two four-year terms as a member of the City of Pleasanton Housing Commission chairing the Commission twice. Mr. Stark holds Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Political Science and English from the University of California, Riverside and a Masters Degree in City and Regional Planning from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
