
The Hayward Rotary Club will next meet at noon Monday, Aug. 25, at 1074 B St. and members will hear a presentation by Bradley Dunn, manager of local government and community relations for the Bay Area Rapid Transit.
With 50 stations along six routes and 131 miles of track, BART has two stations and a major maintenance facility in Hayward. It also has a seat on the Downtown Hayward Improvement Association.
With an average of 167,700 weekday passenger trips as of the first quarter of 2025 and 50,791,900 annual passenger trips in 2024, BART is the seventh-busiest rapid transit system in the United States. Dunn has been in his position for nearly two years after experience as the external policy manager for Sonoma County and as public information officer for the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency.
