The Hayward Rotary Club will celebrate the Halloween holiday with a pumpkin-carving contest, costumes, and spooky decorations at its noon meeting on Monday, Oct, 30.
Club president Norman Garcia promises "a fun fellowship meeting day," and urged members to come in costume and their ideas for creating the best jack-o-lantern. Pumpkins and carving implements will be provided. Members are encouraged to bring guests.
