On Monday, Sept 16, Salvador LLamas will take us through an overview and what's new and happening at AC Transit.
Salvador Llamas is the Chief Operating Officer for the Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District (AC Transit). Llamas has over 25 years of experience working in fleet and facilities operations, 18 of which have been in public transit. Before joining AC Transit, Llamas worked at the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LA Metro) and served in the United States Marine Corps. He has managed operations with the following fleet technologies: gasoline, diesel, compressed natural gas (CNG), diesel-electric hybrid, and zero emission hydrogen fuel cell electric bus. Llamas is a graduate of the Eno Transit Senior Executive Program, Leadership APTA class of 2010, and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
