The story of how Hayward's Life Chiropractic College West emerged from the pandemic stronger than ever will be told by the director of its health center when the Hayward Rotary Club meets for its regular Monday luncheon on Sept. 16 in downtown Hayward at 1074 B St.
Dr. Koen P. Kallop will bring along a couple of his interns as he gives a presentation on Life West, which boasts it is, "the most genuine and inclusive chiropractic school in the world."
The college has been located in Hayward for 46 years and has 55 faculty and more than 600 students working on chiropractic degrees.
Chiropractors work with people with a wide range of health conditions and symptoms, often best known for neck and back pain. The job of the chiropractor is to assess the biomechanics of the spine to allow for improved function and healing.
