What will happen to East Bay real estate in 2024 is a mystery, but we do know that the median price of a home in the entire Bay Area rose 10.6% between January 2023 and January 2024 to $1.1 million.
Bay East Realtors Association Chief of Public Affairs David Stark will help Hayward Rotary Club members make sense of an often-confusing real estate situation at our noon lunchtime meeting on Monday, March 11. His organization represents Realtors throughout Alameda and Contra Costa counties, but as a longtime member of the Hayward Chamber of Commerce, Stark has a particular interest in our city. He manages the association’s communications, media relations, political activities and works with elected leaders and government staff in the development of housing policies.
Prior to joining the Bay East staff he worked in municipal government managing a variety of housing and community development programs.
