Nico Pemantle the ‘blogfather’ of Athletics Nation, a prominent Oakland A’s fan site, will be the featured presenter at the July 22 luncheon meeting of the Hayward Rotary Club at 1074 B St. From a fan perspective, he will review developments regarding the Oakland Athletics' attempts to play in Sacramento next year, and eventually build a stadium on the Las Vegas strip, largely at Nevada taxpayers' expense. Pemantle is also a singer-songwriter, comedian, and school teacher.
