The South Hayward Parish Food Pantry will receive a Rotary community grant.
Representatives of 17 Hayward area nonprofit organizations have been invited to be on hand when the Hayward Rotary Club meets May 24 to distribute more than $40,000 from its annual Community Grants Program. A club committee, headed by Robert Carlson, has completed extensive evaluation of two dozen applications for this year's funding opportunity. The club has distributed more than $1 million through its grants programs since 2000.
