PG&E has had to address the outfall of ferocious Northern California wildfires over the past few years and is now addressing the upcoming fire season by ramping up a 10,000-mile undergrounding initiative and preventing wildfires before they start by using enhanced safety settings that automatically turn off power if the system detects a threat.
