Our mothers and grandmothers always told us to “mind our manners”.  But in these Shelter-In-Place times, we may not even remember those manners to mind.   To remedy that, we’ve asked Dr. Thomas Padron, who is an Associate Professor and Graduate Program Coordinator in the Department of Hospitality, Recreation and Tourism at Cal State, East Bay to be our Speaker on Monday February 1, 2021 to teach us Social Etiquette as well as to talk about Hospitality and Tourism in the Post Covid-19 era.

Dr. Padron is an experienced hospitality industry professional as a former chef, event planner and director and has been a university professor for over 17 years.  Dr. Padron has a Ph.D. in Business Organization and Management with a Specialization in Leadership.  He has conducted over 120 etiquette dinners along with numerous training and educational seminars on professionalism and etiquette.    Prior to the pandemic, he has hosted more than a dozen Social Etiquette Dinners at CSUEB for graduating students and others.

Be sure to join us Monday February 1.
