The Sorensdale Center was the site for the annual presidential "demotion" event June 30, this time for Hayward Rotary's 103rd president, Kim Huggett. As usual, nothing was out-of-bounds during the hilarious send-off to President Kim's term, with skit master Brian Schott and past president Norman Garcia combining to put on an elaborate recreation of the 70's comedy television program, The Gong Show. Following the premise of that wacky out of control madhouse program hosted by Chuck Barris, Rotarians enjoyed a mind-blowing array of wanna-be street performers, lounge acts, amateur singers and dancers, and psychos.
