
The featured presenter at the July 20 luncheon meeting of the Hayward Rotary Club will be Geeta Kadambi, governor for Rotary District 5170, that includes 3,600 members in 63 Bay Area clubs. The meeting will be held at 1074 B St.
Kadambi is a scientist who has worked at NASA and is founder and CEO of the patent law firm Riddhi IP, LLC. She also is former human relations commissioner for the city of Fremont. She was charter president of the Rotary Club of Fremont Bridge in 2018. Her goals for her service year of 2026-2027 include increasing Rotary club membership, supporting innovative service projects, engaging young professionals, launching an Interactor Journalist Program, and encouraging maximum participation in the annual high school RYLA conference.
She is determined that Rotary International support efforts to fight diseases, support education and provide clean water. She has participated in 11 Rotary International Global Grants. She studied biochemistry at the University of Minnesota, molecular biology at Stanford and holds a doctorate in biochemistry from the University of Madras in Chennai, India.
